Occupational Safety & Health Discussion
The Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health and the Director of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health will participate in a moderated discussion on their insight on the key issues affecting safety and health professionals from their agencies’ perspectives. This session will focus on the role that safety and health professionals can and should play in addressing these issues and will include questions from the audience.

Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health
Dr. David Michaels, the Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health and head of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), will share his insights with conference attendees and then respond to questions from our session moderator, addressing the key issues and concerns of SH&E professionals on the activities and impact of the Federal Government. Attendees will be able to propose questions for the session moderator to address to Dr. Michaels.
